Nominee’s Bio: I serve as the Operations and Enterprise Minister at St. Luke’s. I enjoy the diverse work that this position entails, and I also enjoy the opportunity to serve as an Acolyte, to assist with hospitality, and to be involved in many other activities in the church community.

I was previously employed at UCSD in cancer research; before that, I worked in the Nutrition field, in various positions in research, as a nurse, and as a small business owner.

Having grown up in Kampala, Uganda, I moved to Germany after high school to study Nutrition Science. I graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree. Thereafter, I moved to the U.S., My husband and I have lived in various places in Southern California before settling in San Diego.

My early Christian journey started with the guidance of my parents, who loved the Lord and served him faithfully. I am grateful for life and I take every opportunity to continue growing in my faith and spiritual life.

I am passionate about social justice issues and advocacy, development/charity work, and Entrepreneurship/Social Entrepreneurship. I envision a world with people living in peace and harmony.

I have been inspired by being a part of a dynamic team dedicated to grow in our spiritual lives with people of different backgrounds - many of whom with unique life circumstances and experiences.

I am passionate about the opportunity to work with the leadership of our Diocese to achieve its strong missions, visions and goals. With God’s help I will be honored to be part of the diverse team of leaders as they make Christ-centered decisions. My vision is that I will seek opportunities and find ways to achieve our goal to get into fellowship with all people, especially those different from ourselves.

I hope to contribute to fearlessly seeking reconciliation so as to build a community that promotes a peaceful and just society, especially if we truly give in to the healing and transforming power of the love of Jesus Christ.
