Nominee’s Statement in Favor of Their Candidacy:  Dean of St. Paul's Cathedral since 2014; ordained in 1997; member of the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Virginia 2004-2007 (during the schism and a bishop search); member of the Episcopal Search Committee in this diocese; deputy to General Convention in 2018: I feel called to offer my gifts in the service of the diocese as our Bishop leads us into an unknown but potentially exciting new era in the life of the church. My experience equips me well for the role of the Standing Committee in advising, supporting, and partnering with our Bishop in the governance of the diocese.
