Nominee’s Statement in Favor of Their Candidacy: The Rev. Paige Blair-Hubert is experienced in leading through periods of change and transformation. She is very excited about the possibility of serving our diocese during such a transformative time. Paige has been rector of St. Peter's in Del Mar for 15 years, having served in Maine and Massachusetts previously. She has served in a variety of diocesan roles, including as co-chair of the EDSD strategic planning committee (2012), the Commission on Ministry and Standing Committee. She chaired EDSD's Task Force for the Compassionate Care of Victims of Clergy Sexual Misconduct in 2018. In addition she represented our diocese as a deputy to the General Convention (2015) having served as an alternate and deputy previously while in Maine (2003 and 2006). After chairing the Task Force it was time to focus on significant projects at St. Peter's, including their recent building project. She is hopeful about the possibility of "taking her share in the councils of the church" once more.
