Nominee’s Bio: As a vestry member at St. James-by-the-Sea and a longtime member of our choir, I'm excited to have the potential opportunity to serve the San Diego diocese in an expanded way.

My background as an executive, board member and volunteer has prepared me to contribute in a meaningful and diverse way. I:
Have been a leader of the League of Women Voters of San Diego, a century-old nonpartisan political organization, where I was president from 2017-2021 and now serve as vice president. I also served on the state board of directors for the League of Women Voters of California. During my tenure we set new records for membership, modernized operations and created mutually beneficial partnerships with several other major organizations.

• Have founded and run three companies and am currently CEO of my most recent, WEALTHAWK, which is one of the top 3% of companies supported by Founder Institute

• Served on the foundations of my children's elementary, middle and high schools and was a founding member of the National League of Young Men, San Diego

• Have fostered dogs from the San Diego Humane Society and Helen Woodward Animal Center

• Created and ran a multi-year fundraising program for the La Jolla Institute for Immunology and also served as an ambassador for that organization

Raised as a Southern Baptist, I thoughtfully examined my beliefs and values and became an Episcopal as a young adult in college. I've lived throughout the U.S. and have served my respective churches according to their needs: I've performed office/administrative work, communications activities, served on vestries and various committees, and sung in choirs. I've also attended classes at EDSD SfM, now West Coast Collaborative.

I live in San Diego with my husband Paul and rescue dog Calliope, and we enjoy traveling to visit our son who lives back East.

Nominee’s Statement in Favor of Their Candidacy: I have vast experience and success serving on executive boards. I excel at creating strategic plans and developing processes and protocols to support missions and goals. I value partnering with and supporting like-minded organizations to maximize impact, as well as forging alliances to further a good cause. I'm adept at deploying advanced technology to help organizations and people become more efficient and leading others in the adoption of that technology.
