Nominee’s Statement in Favor of Their Candidacy: I received a phone call informing me that my name had come up as a possible nominee for Diocesan Council. It is a position that I have not sought, but then, so was my calling to priesthood. If God is calling me to this ministry, then I will be honored to serve as best I can. My ordination to priesthood was in 2009, and I have served as rector at St. Barnabas since 2010. Prior to that I served as a lay chaplain in a large urban hospital and a university. Professionally my background was in urban planning and environmental consulting in which I worked for towns, a regional commission, Baltimore County, MD, and the USEPA. I believe that God wastes nothing, and that all of my training and background contribute to everything that I do, as well as what God gives me for the work to which He/She calls.
