Nominee’s Statement in Favor of Their Candidacy: I am a passionate supporter of our San Diego Diocese and appreciate and welcome the opportunity to bring a lay perspective to the Executive Council. I was a member of the Bishop Nominating Committee and am currently a member of the Diocesan Strategic Planning Committee. I found the work of the Nominating Committee challenging and rewarding. I was inspired by the prayerfulness of our process and the clear presence of the Holy Spirit throughout our work. And I am experiencing the same Spirit working through members of our Strategic Planning group. This inspires me to stay involved in diocesan work.
