Nominee’s Statement in Favor of Their Candidacy: I have had a life-long love for the Episcopal Church and am proud to be a member. Our church has a fine reputation for its beliefs, its laity, its clergy, its liturgy, and its commitment to respecting the dignity of every human being. We also are known for following the canons and rules we have agreed to live by. Over the years, I have been involved with the church at the parish and regional level, with diocesan ministries of all sorts, and I’ve been a consultant for the church-wide offices of the Episcopal Church in New York. I’m known to be fair and measured in my decision-making and I understand the canons of the Church. I believe God may be calling me to bring my experience to the Disciplinary Board, should the need arise.
