committees
General
The Bishop and the Diocesan Executive Council form committees as needed to implement the Strategic Plan. Each committee falls under one of the ministry areas.
Committee Chairpersons
The Bishop appoints council members as the chairperson for each committee, and at least one additional council member to serve on each Committee: 'Appointments are made annually for one year.
Committee members
The committee chairperson, in conjunction with the mission area leader and the staff liaison, nominates members who are knowledgeable in the subject matter of the committee. The Bishop will approve all committee members. Members serve at the pleasure of the Bishop, mission area leader, and committee chairperson.

duties and responsibilities
Assist in creating and updating the committee charter, policies, processes, and procedures. Assume responsibility for projects assigned by the Committee Chairperson. Perform project research including site visits as required; lead project discussions in committee meetings, and recommend appropriate actions on assigned projects. Present reports to the Diocesan Executive Council, as required. Assist in preparing the annual report to Convention, as required.
