Nominee’s Bio: The Rev. Brenda J. Sol has served as the rector of St. Andrew’s-Encinitas for the past eight years. She has been involved in many roles in the dioceses including chair of the Clergy Enrichment Committee, Standing Committee President, and a member of both the Bishop Search Committee and the Transformation Leadership Taskforce. Before being ordained to the priesthood, she worked in positions ranging from education to accounting to an entrepreneurial endeavor.

Nominee’s Statement in Favor of Their Candidacy: I attended the last two conventions as an Alternate, thoroughly enjoying my time watching our Church at work. Because our delegation readily shares time on the floor of the House of Deputies with Alternates, I have experienced the role of Deputy. With this experience, I believe I am well-prepared to serve on church-wide committees in service of the EDSD.
